Ingredient Breakdown
Naturally they come from mint oils such as cornmint or peppermint. Once the extraction occurs, the oil is immediately frozen (cold extraction) which forms the menthol crystals.
Their cooling sensation makes Menthol Crystals ideal for addressing aches & pain, cramps and irritation. They help relax muscles while easing tension headaches, nausea, and dizziness. When used in a warm bath, Menthol Crystals can address congestion and help strengthen immunity. Used in aromatherapy, Menthol Crystals promote easier breathing.
- Dried Culinary Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus is a evergreen tree native to Australia. As an ingredient in many products, it is used to reduce symptoms of coughs, colds, and congestion. It also features in creams and ointments aimed at relieving muscle and joint pain.
Dry coconut milk can act as a gentle exfoliator, and moisturizer to hydrate your skin. Dry coconut milk contains saturated fatty acids thats packed with B,E and C vitamins. These fatty acids will plump your skin and make it feel smooth and dewy. Dry coconut milk is also known to soothe itchiness, and have antiviral, antibacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. Coconut milk powder is made by drying coconut cream.
- Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate)
Epsom salt is also known as magnesium sulfate. Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the body & also a mineral that a lot of people don’t get enough of. Epsom salt is a chemical compound made up of magnesium, sulfur, and oxygen. When dissolved in water, it releases ions and allows minerals to "draw out" harmful toxins and balance the body. Epsom salt can also soften rough, dry skin, and exfoliate your dead skin cells.
Epsom salt also has beneficial properties for the heart and nervous system. While also producing melatonin, a hormone that promotes stress reduction relaxation & sleep.
- Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda)
Baking Soda is a mixture of sodium ions and bicarbonate ions which helps your body get rid of toxins. These ions help remove bacteria, odors, acidity and is useful as an antifungal agent against many of the fungal strains that commonly infect human skin and nails.
Baking soda is an alkaline substance and when combined with water, it makes the water slightly more alkaline making the water feel a little more silky. This can reduce irritation and itching and leave your body soft and silky smooth.
Bentonite clay is derived from volcanic ash. A natural clay with a fine, soft texture that forms a paste when mixed with water. Bentonite Clay helps deliver essential vitamins and minerals to the body, helping to draw out impurities and build-up and detoxify the skin.
